To revenge the death of Sakai Osugi, the socialist strangled in jail by a gendarme captain, and the slaughter of other socialists and labor leaders after the great earthquake a year ago, Kyutaro Wada attempted to assassinate General Fukuda of the Gendarmerie yesterday evening.
