After the devastating Noto Peninsula earthquake on New Year's Day, electric power companies across Japan mobilized a total of more than 4,700 workers to the affected areas for about a month to restore electrical equipment.

Drawing from insights gained from previous calamities, the electric power sector has established a framework to streamline the dispatch of support personnel and facilitate mutual aid to cover restoration expenses.

After frequent natural disasters in recent years, a cooperative system to swiftly resolve power outages is increasingly important.
