A 49-year-old stripper filed a lawsuit on Monday at the Tokyo District Court, demanding an adult video website operator take down pornographic movies in which she had appeared some three decades ago because she only consented for them to be shown in theaters.
The plaintiff, who goes by her stage name Miyuki Ariga, is also seeking ¥1.5 million ($9,620) in damages.
According to the lawsuit, Ariga appeared in adult movies shot around 1994 based on a contract that said they would only be shown in a limited number of movie theaters. But she found out around 13 years ago that the movies were being sold on DVD.
