Tokyo police said they rearrested three men as of Thursday on suspicion of brokering overseas prostitution for Japanese women through a recruitment website.
The men, including Yoshio Usui, 54, a company executive, were initially arrested and indicted for alleged violations of the Employment Security Law in April, as they were suspected of dispatching two Japanese women to brothels in the United States.
They were rearrested for allegedly introducing a woman in her 40s to a brothel in Sydney in November 2022. They have admitted to the charge, police said.
