Outstanding features in the situation today were departure of two refugee ships — the Wilson for Kobe and Shanghai, the Pierce for America — and the presence of six American destroyers which arrived from Dairen yesterday afternoon. Two more destroyers, the Huron and Black Hawk, are en route.
