Earthquakes, floods, storms — the world is not adequately prepared to face increasing disasters, a U.N. report has found.
The report, published Tuesday, called for a rethink on global risk management.
Since 1990, more than 10,700 disasters have affected over 6 billion people worldwide, according to data from the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
