Visitors to Tokyo Tower now have the chance to stuff themselves with a sky-scraper of a burger.
Mos Food Services Inc., the operator of Mos Burger fast-food outlets, introduced its new Tokyo Tower Burger on Friday, and it's only available at the Mos Burger outlet in the Tokyo Tower shopping complex.
While it may not be as high as the 333-meter Tokyo Tower, the 14-layer sandwich consists of two buns, lettuce, hot chili sauce, chopped onions, mayonnaise, sliced tomato, two meat patties, deep fried onions, ketchup and pastrami bacon. The operator said the red chili sauce represents the color of Tokyo Tower.
The lofty burger also comes in a cheese version.
Mos Food Services said the Tokyo Tower Burger is the "tallest" burger in Mos Burger's history and was tailor-made as an exclusive Tokyo Tower menu item.
The Tokyo Tower Burger is priced at ¥800, or ¥860 for the cheese burger.
