Fulbright Japan, administered by the Japan-U.S. Educational Commission, will host a seminar for in-service and prospective English teachers on scholarship programs in the U.S..
The seminar, to be held in Tokyo on July 23, is open to anyone who is interested in going to the U.S. to obtain qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and will offer guidance on how to select teacher training programs and their availability at U.S. institutions.
The session will include a scholarship program orientation and a panel discussion with students who have studied abroad.
It will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the headquarters of the Japan-U.S. Educational Commission in 207 Sanno Grand Building, 14-2, Nagatacho 2-chome, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
The venue is located next to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station on the Marunouchi and Ginza Lines, nearby exit 11.
The orientation is free of charge but online advance reservations are required.
