Shinagawa-ku International Friendship Association (SIFA) will hold free professional consultations for foreigners residing in Japan on Oct. 26.
Professionals in various fields — including lawyers, notaries, certified social insurance labor consultants, psychiatrists and clinical psychotherapists — will provide consultations covering legal issues, for example on visa status, as well as marital-, health- and work-related matters.
Consultations will be provided with an interpretation service in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, Thai and Russian. Confidentiality is assured.
The consultation service will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the 7th floor of the Curian (Kyurian) Event Hall in Higashioi, Shinagawa Ward, which is a one-minute walk from the JR or Tokyu Oimachi stations. Foreigners who reside outside Shinagawa Ward are also invited.
The consultations are organized by SIFA and the CINGA nonprofit organization that promotes international exchanges.
No advance appointment is required. More information is available via phone at 03-5742-6517 or fax at 03-5742-6518.
