Kyocera Corp. will provide solar panels with a capacity of 30 megawatts to Eurus Energy Holdings Corp. for a site in Hokkaido, Kyocera said in a statement posted on its website Monday.
Construction of the plant in Shiranuka will start next month and operations will begin in March 2014, according to the company's statement.
Eurus Energy is a renewable-energy venture between Toyota Tsusho Corp. and Tokyo Electric Power Co.
