Fulbright Japan will host two sessions in Tokyo in June for people who will enter undergraduate or graduate programs at U.S. universities this fall.
The first session will be held June 7 for those starting undergraduate programs, and the second will be held June 8 for those entering graduate programs. Both sessions will run from 1 to 5:30 p.m. at Tokyo American Center in Minato Ward.
The orientation will include a lecture by a U.S. university professor and a panel discussion with students who recently returned from America. Officials from the U.S. Embassy's consular section will explain the visa-application process.
The venue is Tameike Building 8F, 1-1-14, Akasaka, Minato Ward, Tokyo, which is a five-minute walk from the Nanboku subway line's Tameike Sanno Station or the Ginza subway line's Toranomon Station.
The orientations are free, but participants must register in advance at www.fulbright.jp/study/event/orient.html.
