BEIJING (Kyodo) Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao told a Japanese business delegation Wednesday he hopes to meet Democratic Party of Japan leader Yukio Hatoyama soon after the latter becomes prime minister next week, delegation members said.
Wen was quoted as saying he hopes to discuss the future direction of Japan-China relations with Hatoyama.
The Chinese premier also said he has taken note of Hatoyama's remarks about giving priority to expanding Japan-China relations.
