The Japan Chapter of the International Advertising Association has appointed Tateo Mataki, chairman and chief executive officer of Dentsu Inc., as its new president, succeeding Toshiaki Ogasawara, publisher of The Japan Times.
At its annual general meeting Tuesday, the association also appointed Yukiko Ogasawara, president of The Japan Times, as one of its three vice presidents.
The IAA is an international network of advertising, media and marketing representatives. Headquartered in New York, the group aims to facilitate the sound development of advertising industries.
