Japan and Hong Kong will launch the Hong Kong-Japan Tourism Exchange Year campaign to boost bilateral tourism in 2009, tourism promotion bodies of the two economies announced Friday in Tokyo.
Japan Tourism Agency, Japan National Tourist Organization, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Tokyo, and the Hong Kong Tourism Board made the announcement at a news conference.
Campaign events will include Trend Expo in Hong Kong and a Hong Kong week in Japan to introduce Hong Kong culture, fashion and foods, the bodies said.
