NEC Corp. said Monday it has bought Hungarian communications-engineering company Linecom Kft. to expand operations in Eastern Europe.
Linecom has 20 employees and about ¥500 million in annual sales, NEC said.
Budapest-based Linecom has been providing installation, maintenance and support services for NEC's microwave telecommunications equipment in Europe for 15 years.
