Toys "R" Us Japan. Ltd., the Japanese unit of the U.S.-based toy retailer, said Thursday it is voluntarily recalling more than 15,000 hair clips and other girls' accessories that contain lead paint.
The products, sold under the Dream Dazzlers label, were made in China and originally imported to the U.S. by New York-based Almar Sales Co., company spokeswoman Eri Armstrong said.
No health problems have been reported, said the retailer, which announced the recall in a faxed statement.
Toys "R" Us Japan is 47.76 percent owned by Toys "R" Us Inc. of the U.S.
