Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the maker of Subaru cars, will recall Stella and R2 minicars in Japan to fix faulty door locks.
Tokyo-based Fuji Heavy will recall 43,422 Stella and R2 vehicles made between July 2006 and July 2007, the company said in a filing to the transport ministry Thursday.
No accidents have been reported in connection with the faulty locks, according to the filing.
Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Motors Corp. said it will recall 34,850 Toppo BJ minicars in Japan to fix faulty engine intercoolers.
Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Motors will recall Toppo BJ minicars made between September 1998 and August 2002, when the company stopped producing the model, it said in a filing to the transport ministry Thursday.
