Dropping his line in the water last December, Jun Nakashima finally reeled in what he had only dreamed about for years -- a rare 7-kg blackfish that gave him a quite a fight.
Excited, the 38-year-old fisherman proclaimed, "This tautog is the biggest fish I've ever caught!"
Not only was the beaming fisherman ecstatic about his catch, but he also collected the coveted prize money pooled by the avid anglers who boarded the party boat -- the Dorothy B. VIII -- in the wee hours of the morning off Sheepshead Bay, in Brooklyn, not far from Manhattan.
