Japan for four days from Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.
During his stay in Tokyo, Wolfowitz is expected to attend meetings with Finance Ministry officials and hold talks with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and other officials, including Foreign Minister Taro Aso.
The talks are aimed at exchanging opinions on strengthening cooperation with Japan, the second-largest donor to the World Bank, and the prospects for developing economies, ministry officials said.
