Foreign Minister Taro Aso reached an agreement Wednesday with his Latvian counterpart, Artis Pabriks, to cooperate on United Nations reforms and other issues, the Foreign Ministry said.
In a meeting in Tokyo, Aso briefed Pabriks on Japan's new plan for reforming the U.N. Security Council, ministry officials said.
