A large wild boar attacked two women and a man Friday outside an old people's home near Tokyo and was still on the loose, police said.

The 1.2 meter-boar charged at the women in a clearing outside the Shiratoriso residence in Saitama Prefecture, breaking one woman's leg and goring the other woman in the thigh, according to a local policeman who gave only his last name, Komura.

Another man who tried to shoo the boar away was gored in the buttocks, Komura said. The boar fled into nearby mountains, he added.
