Jewelry maker I.K. Co. is offering 10 platinum Snoopy figures for 5.5 million yen each to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the popular American cartoon character.
The company will make the figures once they receive orders, which will be taken at department store chain Isetan Co.'s flagship store in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward.
Covered with 231 small white and pink diamonds, the miniature Snoopy is 5 cm high and weighs 300 grams, and holds a heart with the number 55 in black diamonds.
The Snoopy character was created by the late cartoonist Charles Schulz in 1950.
