Two men and a woman were arrested Friday in connection with hidden cameras found at UFJ Bank automated teller machine outlets in Tokyo and nearby prefectures since August, police said.
Kazuto Honda, 32, from Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Hidenori Miyata, 38, from Kawasaki, are suspected in one case of having conspired with two others to enter an ATM outlet in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward to film ATM users type in their personal identification numbers at around 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 22.
Miyata's wife, Yoko, 39, was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the tampering of ATMs at another outlet in Shibuya Ward on the afternoon of Sept. 7.
