Yoshiki Kuroda and his wife, Sayako Kuroda, former Princess Nori, took a walk in a park Wednesday morning in Tokyo as reporters watched them.

The couple, which married on Nov. 15, were seen strolling in Shinjuku Gyoen before the park opened to the public at 9 a.m. The reporters, who have been asking for a chance to see the newlyweds together, were let in by the Imperial Household Agency.

Asked about their new life together, Yoshiki Kuroda, 40, a Tokyo Metropolitan Government employee, said with a smile, "We are doing fine, thank you." Sayako, 36, simply nodded, looking happy.

The former princess and her bureaucrat husband have been living together in an apartment in Tokyo since getting married Nov. 15.

According to the agency, the couple are busy unpacking and making a home. It asked the press to respect their privacy.
