Suzuki Motor Corp.'s Swift has won the 2006 RJC Car of the Year award from the Automotive Researchers' & Journalists' Conference, the 87-member group said Tuesday.
The group said its members picked the four-door, four-seat compact for its "attractive exterior and interior design and value for the money, with high level of equipment."
The RJC, which includes leading motor journalists, selected the car of the year from among vehicles introduced in the domestic market between Nov. 1, 2004 and the end of last month.
The group said it has named the Citroen C4 the 2006 RJC Import Car of the Year.
