The government said Tuesday it will provide a one-time allowance of 152.5 million yen to Princess Nori, who will be leaving the Imperial household after her marriage to Tokyo Metropolitan Government employee Yoshiki Kuroda, government officials said.

The figure was decided unanimously last month at a meeting of the Imperial Household Economic Council.

Princess Nori, 36, is the only daughter of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. She will relinquish her royal title after marrying Kuroda, 40, who is a commoner, in accordance with the Imperial House Law.
