Thirty-seven people have been arrested for allegedly engaging in baccarat gambling in Minato Ward, Tokyo, police said Monday.
Among those arrested were Kosuke Osawa, 34, from Koto Ward; Minoru Kawakami, 42, who lives in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture and is a senior member of an organized crime group affiliated with the Inagawa-kai; and 21 others in connection with operating or assisting in the operation of a baccarat gambling hall in the Azabu area.
