Wholesale prices of gasoline and other petroleum products are expected to drop next month for the first time since June, an oil industry leader said Wednesday.
Wholesale prices of gasoline, diesel oil and kerosene in November are "more likely to show a somewhat weak tone than level off," Fumiaki Watari, president of the Petroleum Association of Japan, said at a news conference. The prices "will not go up."
Watari's views are reportedly based on the dip in crude oil prices this month.
