Police on Friday arrested two men linked to a pro-Pyongyang organization on suspicion of violating the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.</PARAGRAPH>

According to the police, the two men allegedly sold unapproved medicines, including those supposedly for cancer and AIDS, to consumers between May 2004 and September 2005 in violation of the pharmaceutical law.
The two also ran ads for the medicine on the Web site of a pharmaceutical firm in Hyogo Prefecture, the police said.
The 11 locations searched Friday include the office of a nonprofit organization created to subsidize scientific research by Korean residents of Japan.
The organization was formed in 1982 by the head of the Nishi-Arai Hospital in Tokyo's Adachi Ward.
