Seiko Watch Corp. and Kose Corp. said Tuesday they will wage a joint marketing campaign for their respective products -- wristwatches and cosmetics -- using pop singer BoA as the face of the campaign.

Starting in early November, the two will have retailers put up posters featuring the popular Korean singer sporting Seiko wristwatches and wearing Kose cosmetics, the companies said.

In addition, the two will offer free cosmetics to 10,000 Seiko watch buyers and give away watches to 300 buyers of Kose cosmetics.

The campaign will revolve around three watches from Seiko's Wired series that sell for 14,700 yen to 18,900, yen as well as six types of cosmetics, including nail polish, from Kose's Fasio series that sell for up to 1,575 yen.

Both Wired and Fasio products are designed for teenagers and shoppers in their early 20s, they said.
