Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Paraguayan President Nicanor Duarte will both visit Japan in October, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.
Berlusconi will visit Oct. 19 to 20, and Duarte will be visiting from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, the ministry said.
Both are expected to meet with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and Emperor Akihito, the ministry said, adding that it will be Berlusconi's first visit as a prime minister.
