Japanese firms breathed a collective sigh of relief Friday after determining that all their employees in London appear not to have been injured in the series of deadly explosions that rocked the transportation system in the British capital.
While most of the firms did not expect the attacks to hurt operations, several said they would monitor developments from Thursday's bombings.
The first of the blasts struck the financial heart of London, but Japanese megabanks said they have confirmed the safety of both their Japanese and locally hired employees.
