Mitsubishi Motors Corp. said Friday it is recalling about 209,000 Libero station wagons for free repairs due to defective mounting bolts in the tailgate that caused an injury last year.
Subject to the recall are vehicles made between March 1992 and August 2002, MMC said in a recall notice to the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Ministry. They include 48,718 units recalled for the same problem last July, MMC said.
Last September, a Libero driver sustained a neck injury when a loose bolt caused the tailgate to fall on her.
