Satoshi Nakayama, 42, president of midsize condominium sales company Dynacity Corp., has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a stimulant drug, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department said Wednesday.
Tokyo-based Dynacity, listed on the Jasdaq over-the-counter market for startup firms, said it fired Nakayama after confirming the arrest.
Dynacity released a statement saying that while it was an act concerning an individual, the firm regretted that he was arrested.
Tokyo police said Nakayama was found to be in possession of a small amount of stimulants Tuesday afternoon at a condominium in Shibuya Ward.
