Starting next June, police will shift the task of cracking down on parking violations to the private sector as part of efforts to privatize administrative duties related to law enforcement.
Some firms welcome the chance to receive contracts from police, while the system will free up police officers for more important duties, such as pursuing criminals.
But many drivers, such as those in the delivery business, are worried about the change.
