15 Japan Times readers can take 'Little Edo' tour for free A tour bus operator in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, will invite 15 readers of The Japan Times as monitors for its "Nostalgic Little Edo Tour" on May 14 free of charge.
Participants must be foreigners who can understand English. They will be asked to respond to a questionnaire regarding the tour. The offer does not cover the costs of getting to the meeting points, the west exit of JR Shinjuku Station at 8:30 a.m. and the west exit of JR Kawagoe Station at 10 a.m.
Those who wish to apply should send mail stating name, age, nationality, address, phone number and occupation to Eagle Bus Nostalgic Little Edo Tour Kakari, MK Building, 2-10-12 Nakahara-cho, Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, 350-0042.
The deadline is Thursday.
Participants will be chosen by lottery should the number of applicants exceed 15. Winners will be mailed their invitation.
