PAG-ASA Group Japan has been helping to school poverty-stricken children in Paco and Muntinlupe in and near Manila through financial aid since 1989.
Through 15 years of activities up to the end of September, the group has enabled 19,656 Filipino children to go to school.
The money the group receives from The Japan Times Readers' Fund is sent to the Manila-based Educational Research and Development Assistance Foundation (ERDA).
