Imported car dealer Yanase & Co. said Wednesday it will absorb seven sales subsidiaries Aug. 2 in a bid to increase the efficiency of operations within its group.
Yanase said it will merge sales subsidiaries in Gunma, Saitama, Chiba, Hiroshima, Kagawa, Tochigi and Shizuoka prefectures. The seven will be dissolved and Yanase will be the surviving company.
With the merger, the number of Yanase employees will be increased to 4,378 from 3,458, it said.
