Health food entrepreneur Hitori Saito was Japan's top individual taxpayer last year, according to a list released Monday by the National Tax Agency.
Saito paid some 1.14 billion yen in income tax from sales of diet products. He has ranked among Japan's top 10 taxpayers for 11 straight years.
"I'm thrilled like crazy," he was quoted as saying by his top aide.
