Daiei Inc. is collaborating with other businesses for the sake of its survival after nearly collapsing three years ago.
The Tsudanuma shop in Narashino, Chiba Prefecture, opened the Hello Stadium variety shop in March to sell cosmetics and accessories mainly to girls in their early teens.
There is also a makeup room and photo studio. On Sundays, a professional photographer takes pictures of 50 girls selected at the studio. Photo auditions are also held for the company's information magazine.
