Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. said Thursday it has lost some documents featuring personal data on 41 customers at its office in the western Tokyo suburb of Tama.
The trust bank said an employee at the office left his bag containing the documents on a train by mistake on April 29 and neither the bag nor the documents have been recovered.
On the documents were the customers' names, addresses, phone numbers and the balance of their accounts.
