The Financial Services Agency said Tuesday it upgraded 23 borrowers that have loans with Japan's 11 major banks, and downgraded 26 others.
This action was taken as part of a special audit covering the six-month period through March 31.
In the previous audit on troubled large-lot borrowers, conducted Sept. 30, the FSA upgraded six borrowers and downgraded 24 borrowers.
