Dentsu Inc., Japan's biggest advertising agency, said Monday it has revised its earnings outlook for the just-ended business year upward as a pickup in economic activity has prompted companies to increase advertising activities.
According to its revised parent-only earnings projection for the year that ended in March, Dentsu will book 1.40 trillion yen in revenue, 2.6 percent more than last November's forecast of 1.37 trillion yen.
Pretax profit is projected at 40.25 billion yen in the revised estimate, 12.1 percent more than the November forecast of 35.90 billion yen.
