The five paintings, which have been donated since last fall, are in a corridor by the House of Representatives.
Atsushi Uemura, vice president of Kyoto City University of Art, plans to donate a painting early this year, to be followed in spring 2005 by Ikuo Hirayama, president of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
