Uzbek Foreign Minister Sodyq Safaev will come to Tokyo on Sunday for a three-day visit to discuss bilateral relations with Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
Safaev will meet with Kawaguchi on Monday, it said.
He last visited Japan in January 2002 as vice foreign minister to attend an aid donors' conference for Afghanistan.
