Mizuho Financial Group Inc. plans to sell the three former headquarters of the banks it was merged from, Fuji Bank, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank and the Industrial Bank of Japan, according to sources close to the company.
Mizuho Financial Group will initially sell the former head office of the IBJ, possibly by the end of December, to a corporate buyer that has already stepped forward, they said.
It will speed up the process of selecting buyers for the former DKB and Fuji headquarters and hopes to be able to sell them by the end of the current business year on March 31, 2004, they said.
