Skynet Asia Airways Co. will operate a flight Saturday with an all-male flight crew that it says is not just for female passengers.
Four male flight attendants will take care of passenger needs on the round-trip flight between Tokyo and Miyazaki, the airline said.
"We hope passengers aboard the flights will enjoy a different atmosphere, but we do not mean only to target female passengers for the flights," a company official said.
The Miyazaki-based company said the special crew will be on Flight 117 from Tokyo's Haneda airport to Miyazaki and Flight 120 from Miyazaki to Tokyo.
Skynet Asia employs five male flight attendants.
