Sega Corp., which saw two potential merger deals slide down the drain earlier this month, announced Monday that a 43-year-old senior officer will replace Hideki Sato as president.
In a shakeup subject to shareholders' approval on June 27, Hisao Oguchi will take over from Sato, who will become chairman of Sega.
The new president is likely to enjoy sole command, with Sato and two other current executives set to give up their representative rights.
