Three of the nation's five major automakers saw their domestic sales grow in fiscal 2002, according to figures released Thursday by the firms in question.
This growth was led by Nissan Motor Co., which logged a hefty 14.3 percent gain.
Each of the firms reported increases in domestic production, overseas production and exports.
