Two events of interest to anyone studying English -- Language Fair (Ryugaku Expo) 2003 and Study USA 2003 -- will take place next month at four locations around Japan, according to organizers.
The annual events, organized by Tokyo-based Last Resort Inc., will be held in Sapporo on May 7, Nagoya on May 9, Osaka on May 10 and Tokyo on May 11.
People interested in studying overseas will have access to information about educational organizations in the United States and Australia.
According to the organizer, more than 60 foreign educational organizations -- including Boston University, California State University, Northridge and the New York Film Academy -- are expected to take part.

Language center seeking students for Japanese classes
The Tsuda Center for Japanese Language Teaching, based in Tokyo's Shibuya district, is looking for new students for its elementary Japanese-language classes, which will start May 24.
The lessons, which will run until June 21, will be held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The school is aiming to enroll 15 students who can understand spoken English. Interviews will be conducted before enrollment. The lessons will be free, but there is a 3,000 yen charge for supplementary materials.
